I’m a Great Falls, Virginia native with a lifelong passion for movement and wellness. My journey began as a dancer — I grew up locally immersed in the arts and was first introduced to Pilates as a ballerina. I went on to study Pilates formally as part of my undergraduate education at the University of Utah, where I initially majored in Ballet. During that time, I faced chronic hip pain and ultimately underwent major reconstructive hip surgeries that led me to transition out of dance.
I later earned Physician Assistant and my Master of Public Health (focused in Women and Children’s Health) degrees through a dual program at George Washington University. I practiced at the renowned VSI (formerly Virginia Spine Institute), completing a spinal residency and working alongside the nation’s top spine surgeons, pain management physicians, physical therapists, and massage therapists. We provided holistic, advanced spine care — and I talked Pilates daily.
After having my firstborn, I paused my medical career and took a leap into Pilates instruction — a decision that beautifully blended my clinical background, movement training, and desire to help others. Joseph Pilates’ focus on posture, flexibility, core strength, and stability matched everything my spine patients needed. Great Falls Pilates was born from that synergy, and it’s been a joy to grow a supportive, expert-led community here.
In addition to being comprehensively trained in classical Pilates, I hold advanced specialty certifications in:
Osteoporosis protocols for safe strengthening
Post-Partum Corrective Exercise (including pelvic floor support and diastasis rehab)
Kathy Grant Heritage Program Graduate (one of Joseph Pilates’ first-generation students)
Movement Science Made Simple, a graduate-level biomechanics mentorship program
Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization – Level 1

My Pilates journey began a decade ago in a group mat class — and it’s been a cornerstone of my wellness ever since. I’ve come to deeply appreciate the strength, flexibility, and confidence it brings to my body, and I love challenging myself to grow in my own practice.
Pilates has truly been a gift in my life, especially as an active mom of three. It keeps me strong, centered, and capable — and I’m passionate about helping others experience that same transformation. I continue to deepen my knowledge for both myself and my clients.
At the studio, I work closely with many of our back care clients, including those with osteoporosis. I offer limited in-studio hours by appointment only — I’d love to meet you and help you discover what Pilates can bring to your life!

My love for Pilates began early — I took my first class with my mom at 16, and it just clicked. The healthy movement, the challenge, the way it made my body feel…. During college, I completed my first classical comprehensive certification and knew I had found my calling.
Pilates has been my full-time career for over a decade. For many years, I served as a Master Instructor, certifying and mentoring new teachers to help them grow into confident, capable instructors. I believe Pilates is for every body, and I will always meet you where you are to help you reach your goals.
I especially love working with prenatal clients and those recovering from injuries. Pilates is one of the best things you can do for your joints, spine, and overall function — it makes everything else in life better.
I currently teach only on Sundays at Great Falls Pilates!
